Suseong district, Daegu announced that they were selected once again as an ‘Active Local Government’ by the ministry of Administration and Security on 13th, just like last June.  Active Local Government is the business which started from this April, the ministry of Administration and Security gathers positive administrative cases, picks best practices, and then shares to local governments. This practice is the one of the fifth that finally selected through 92cases applied to national active administrative cases during 3rd to 4th week in July.

‘Dishes made by disabled people, delivery service with saying hello’ business is Suseong-gu’s own policy that a company where hired a number of severely disabled people uses donation from Community Chest of Korea as buying bread, snacks made from Korean rice and delivers with soy milk. 150 vulnerable social groups such as senior citizens who lives alone, severely-handicapped people, got diseased citizens will get delivered from this business. This business is helpful not only to support mentally and economically to vulnerable groups suffering from their health or money problem who have fallen into dead zone of welfare also to prevent dying alone came to the fore as a social issue. Additionally, it also contributes to activate disabled people’s occupational rehabilitation in order to relate with the goods from the company which hired a number of severely handicapped people.
