동원서는 영남대학교 건축공학 전공을 졸업하고 경북대학교 대학원 건축학과를 수료하였다. 겐 건축사사무소. 현대 건축사사무소에서 실무를 쌓았다. 2013년 디에이 건축사사무소를 설립해 2015년 대한민국 신진건축사대상 장려상, 2017년 대구건축 작가상 대구광역시장상, 2018년 후당 건축상을 수상했다. 대구광역시 수성구 공공건축가, 경상북도 공공건축가로 활동하고있다. 다수의 주택작업과 근린생활시설을 설계했다. 대표 작품으로는 <인터텍스>, <도원빌딩>, <CMK사옥> 등이 있고 최근에는 <대구소방안전본부 119 종합상황실> 등을 설계하고 있다. 장소의 특별한 감수성과 일반적 디테일의 효과적 활용을 통하여 작업되는 건축적 행위에서 도시공간의 긍정적 변화를 이끌어 내기 위해 노력하고 있다.
Dong WonSeo graduated from Yeungnam University with a major in Architectural Engineering and completed graduate studies in architecture at Kyungpook National University. He has worked at Gen Architects and Hyundai Architects. In 2013, he founded D.A. He won the 2015 Korea Emerging Architects Award, the 2017 Daegu Architectural Writers Award, the 2017 Daegu Metropolitan Mayor's Award, and the 2018 Hudang Architecture Award. He is currently a public architect of Suseong-gu, Daegu and a public architect of Gyeongsangbuk-do.He has designed numerous residential buildings and neighborhood living facilities. His representative works include Intertex, Dowon Building, CMK Building, and recently is working on Daegu Fire Safety Headquarters 119 General Situation Room.Through his architectural practice, he strives to bring about positive changes in the urban space through the unique sensitivity of place and the effective use of common details.
