Daegu Stadium features high-tech facilities and a unique eco-friendly shape, designed to ensure that 74 percent of the stadium’s seats receive natural light. Designed to resemble a globe, the roof incorporates the beautiful curves of the roof of a traditional Korean house and aims to express the desire to bring all people around the world under one roof. Near the stadium, there are various water recreational facilities, such as fountains, as well as a wide grassy park, offering citizens space for leisure and fitness activities. Also located around the stadium are facilities for rock climbing and inline skating and a stage for outdoor performances.
